Ive been coming here since the early 2000s and im honestly glad its still up and running serving some of the best seafood ive came across. No bones EVER! Nicely portioned breaded food, and drinks. I highly recommend stopping by to try their goodies, cant wait to come back again.

Its H Salt, if you've been to any other H Salt, this location is no different. You will experience the same 90's faux sea town shop atmosphere that you've grown accustom to. This particular location works very fast though, which is a welcomed change from most other H Salts I have been to. Yes, everything you order is made fresh when you order it! The food is good and the prices are good for the amount of food you get. Eating everything fried will probably kill you, but its definitely worth it!

This is the horrible place that I never stop by.
The owner lady is really terrible personality.
The food is sting (they use the old oil to fry the Fish)
Don't eat here. -

I hadn't been to an H Salt Esquire Fish and Chips in a very long time . They were my favorite place for Fish and Chips back in the day. When I saw this H Salt I just had to stop and see if it was like I remembered. It didn't disappoint me. The food was excellent, the lady was very cordial and my girlfriend and I truly enjoyed it. I will definitely be going back in the near future. If you like fish and chips, I recommend this establishment

This isn't the H. Salt Esquire of my youth in the 1960s, even though it's still in the same location all these decades later.
The fish is still pretty good, but the thick, British-style chips are gone, replaced by bland fries found in any grocery store.
Also gone are the plastic serving trays and the newspaper style paper the fish and chips used to be served in. Now the food is served on paper plates.
With two pieces of fish they give you one small container of tartar sauce. Want extra? They'll charge you another 50 cents.
This is a far cry from the shop Briton Haddon Salt created at moving to the United States. The only branding was the sign outside the door, which looked like it was from the early 1970s. The malt vinegar was in unlabeled bottles and the paper plates had no corporate markings.
At least i still have my childhood memories, when it was a treat to go to H. Salt.
